Story

"This was a song I wrote on a very rainy day back in September. I remember composing it vividly while looking out at the wind in the trees. All I could picture was walking through the deep woods and waltzing with creatures unknown to man. I started with the simple guitar chords and added the harp for a european or celtic feel. The oboe, being my favorite of all instruments, had to be central to the melody. It really sends me to a different place where I can fall asleep and be at peace. It is defintely one of my favorites of all time I have written." Todd Norcross - January, 2008

Story

This was one of those songs I knew I loved from the minute the first few notes started. It flowed and came out quickly. I felt as though it could have been played by some minstrel eight hundred years ago. I used some delay effects, which I rarely ever use, to make the melodies sing and play amidst themselves. As far as "Where did the Brotherhood of the Moon title come from?" It just felt like something at night, with the full moon around, almost welsh or druidic. It was written and recorded on a Sunday evening in the Fall of 2007 in about three hours.

Story

This song was originally written by Celtic artist Loreena Mckennit. It is a beautiful chord change and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it long ago. Loreena's harp playing blew me away, as well as her voice. I recomposed this version with my own style. If you like this version, make sure you check out Loreena's!

Story

This track originally started as a piano piece I started playing many years ago. One night, when it was very stormy out, it fleshed out into this current shape. I added the electric guitar at the build up even though this was primarily an acoustic album. It just needed that thick sound before the thunderclap. Having a lot of space in it, this is one of my favorites.
